Jubiläum 50 Jahre Abegg Huus

"50 Years of Abegg Huus" celebrates five decades of community, care, and cultural presence at the Abegg Foundation in Rüschlikon. For this anniversary, artist Christina Haupt was invited to create a new body of work specifically for the exhibition.

Her paintings depict the people who live and work at the Abegg Huus, as well as individuals connected to the foundation. The series features expressive close-ups based on collage fragments, highlighting the layers of identity, memory, and human presence.

Through these portraits, Haupt provides a thoughtful reflection on belonging and the everyday relationships that shape this space. The exhibition opened with a commemorative publication and a festive summer gathering that included music, talks, and local engagement—honoring not only the institution’s history but also the people at its core.
